ICQ HP is my HP48G(X)/49G implentation of the ICQ program for PC
on HP calculators.
It allows to exchange files between two HP or more, linked by the serial pin.
The speed is of 1200 bauds.
To best use ICQ, you can also build or buy
external radio modules for HP, which operate with amplitude modulation,
at a frequency of 433 MHz and with a range of about 35 meters.
The battery supply is of 9 V.
ICQ entries :
ICQ: Main entry
Name: Sets the sender's name.
Add: Adds a name to list (max 5 names).
Del: Deletes a name from list.
Main menu : (press ICQ)
RECV: halts the program and receives the last object sent by the current selection, which must be flickering.
SEND FILE: sends the stack level 1 object, which is deleted.
Only objects of less than 512 bytes can be sent.
RCL: halts the program and recalls the objects sent by the current selection on stack level 1.
OFF: switches off the display. Press ON to continue.
EXIT: exits ICQ.
Note: to receive any object, the main menu must be displayed
(no reception while the program is halted, is sending or the display is off).
