Though I can't speak french, I installed the game and gave it a try. It was easy to find out what the keys do, but I did't know what the characters said. Then my wife translated from french to german for me. And the fun begun.
This game absorbed us for hours. The atmosphere of fear (atmosfear ? ) and the strange characters that you meet, can really make you think that you are part of an old black and white film, co-staring with Humphrey Bogard. Every detail is made with care, from the faces of the characters to the small things that you can pick up or inspect. And of cource in grayscale. The interface is very user friendly. Only a couple of keys are enough for the game, so you don't have to learn many things before you start playing. The plot is fantastic - but I'll not tell anything about it, just download and install the game, you won't regret it.
This is *the* adventure game for the HP49. Now, if it only could only be translated in other languages, or at least in english....
I just loved the game, but got stucked before the end....
Treize scrambled up my hp 49g+. After loading, the screen flickered enormously. After a hardware reset, the ON key was disabled, and the filer displayed garbage only. The whole memory had to be wiped (with OT49), data loss occurring.
Warning ! This is a hell of a crap. This game almost killed my 50g. The ON key wouldn't respond anymore. I had to perform a hardware hard reset by removing the batteries, including the backup battery (!!), to recover my precious companion.
This game doesn't run on my 39GS. Just reboots him, but data remains untouched. Sad.
