I’m french, i don’t speak english very well, but it’s life..
This is a program for HP48GX with a lot of memory, for use with a Garmin GPS II+ with internal software V2.07 ( because it's the only model avalaible for me). May be it can work with other models with icon (a german glider pilot sent me an e-mail about a GPS12, but he didn't say which model exactly), but for the moment , only the track function probably works with all models.
Since this 2.07c version, you need GxPS 2.0 program for exchange data with GPS.
This is not yet a good program, about editing and graphic function, but since it uses GxPS, the communication function are better.
It’s slow, main made in User-RPL, (and a few Sys-RPL).
I have included a manual in french and english (as bad as the program itself), and some exemples of picture that you can obtain with the program.
But if you want to do similar program (with moving map) really faster than this bad one, just do it and don’t forget to put it on the net, please.
This is completely freeware, but you can send me an e-mail to say if you use it or no and why, it will be friendly.
