(50G) Easter, Hebrew Cal+molad,Julian/Gregorian date conversion for any date and JD#. - Gil - 2025-03-11 4 main programs: —> WK.D: gives the weekday. EASTER: gives Christian Eastern Sunday. HEB—>: from Hebrew calendar (year, month, day), returns the corresponding Julian&Gregorian dates, weekday, together with the start and end of the Jewish year with also the length of each of the 12/13 months of the Jewish year, the beginning of the Hebrew Pesach or Passover (Nisan 15) and also the exact date&time of the corresponding molad relative to the given Hebrew month (the 1st of that month, or 1/2 days before the 1st of that month). —>HEB: the reverse, from Julian/Gregorian calendar/date toward Hebrew calendar/date, with also the exact date&time corresponding molad relative to calculated Hebrew month. And 6 help utility calendar programs: Jc—>Gc: Julian calendar/date into Gregorian calendar/date. Gc—>Jc: Gregorian calendar/date into Julian calendar/date. Jc—>Jd: Julian calendar/date into Julian day #. Jd—>Jc: Julian day # into Julian calendar/date. Gc—>Jd: Gregorian calendar/date into Julian day #. Jd—>Gc: Julian day # into Gregorian calendar/date. Other variables names (in lower case) are subroutines and a variable used in the previous 10 programs. According to Gauss' algorithm for the Hebrew calendar and thanks to Peter Baum for the last four above mentioned programs. A "correction" was introduced in Gauss' algorithm to find Nisan 15 th. When finding M and m, if m<0, then (m=m+1; M=M-1), else (m=m; M=M).
