This is another unstable program for the HP Prime: at first, you can put in compounds like Fe(OH)3 and it gives the requisite numerical result, then after a day or two it suddenly gags on any compound involving parentheses, giving a stupid "BAD ARGUMENT TYPE" error. From then on you have to multiply out the elements within the parentheses: for example, Pb(NO3)2 has to be entered as PbN2O6, which is ABSURD because parentheses were okay before. GLITCHY PROGRAM. I'm waiting to see if Formula Mass (different author) works any more reliably right now. |
