This is a recompile for the 49G/48gII/49g+/50g of the original DODAD utilities I posted ten years ago for HP 48G(X). (Just got a new 50g!) These are a few utilities I created because I wanted them and couldn't find them anywhere else. Probably the most useful routine in this set is 'CD', for displaying long numbers with comma thousand delimiter.

Libman 2.2003/1.2004Get It   (details) 49/50 ENG   25KB/2KB
ScreenshotA comfortable tool for managing the LIB menu on the LIB key which cannot be rearranged with the Filer. With about 20 libs the LIB key becomes intolerably slow. Libman sets up a full-screen browser for all attached libs with a rich menu for customization of the LIB menu and other manipulation with libs. You can organize the LIB menu in pages, a separate page for game libs, for port entries etc. Libs not needed directly may temporarily "sleep" (they remain active). In a satellite command browser HELP on a lib command may be consulted exactly as in the CAT browser. On the 49G+, this also provides an easy means of accessing files on the SD card. Contains HTML documentation.

Msgman 1.2005   (details) 49/50 ENG   12KB/1KB
ScreenshotMessages can only partly be handled at the user level in the ERROR menu. This situation improves considerably with Msgman. All built-in messages can conveniently be called to the stack, and you can find all built-in messages containing a given text fragment. Using its number instead of a message itself saves bytes in your programs and makes the message even language-sensitive. Msgman has one page only. The first 3 commands deal with built-in messages, the last 3 with message display, preferably in the new header of the HP 49g+. You can flash a message in the new header, or display it in two lines in the header, similar to PROMPT but without suspending with HALT. And you can insert a small text into the header at a suitable place.

OT49 9.2003/4.2004Get It   (details) 49/50 ENG   41KB/5KB
ScreenshotOperating tools offering menu, library, hiding, programming and compressing tools, allows recalling menus, rompointers, flashpointers, key assignments, to toggle fonts, flags, decompiling/recompiling, etc. The BZ-toggler creates its own powerful menu for handling BZ-strings. With it you may create very small self-decompressing code objects, for instance. The library manager D<->L from OT49 now allows adding HELP options to library commands to be shown in CAT, Libman or elsewhere. OT49 contains the first library tool customizing the creation of HELP options for library commands in the framework of User RPL. Includes HTML documentation.

By Wolfgang Rautenberg. 2003/07/28

Topkeys+ 2.2004   (details) 49/50 ENG   14KB/1KB
ScreenshotA choose box of top key assignments for the HP 49g+ (not the 49G) which supplement the ones offered by Keyman. For toggling BASE, ANGLE and COORDINATES systems, for fast and efficient purge and order, etc. None of these assignments (described in the included HTML document) is in conflict with standard assignments.

Unitman 4.2004Get It   (details) 49/50 ENG FRA ESP DEU   54KB/2KB
ScreenshotAllows a complete customization of the UNITS system. One may add user-defined units to the unit categories. User units are treated like built-ins, i.e., the famous 3-fold functionality of a unit key applies to an integrated user-units as well. In addition, one may reorganize a units menu, i.e., reorder it or purge not needed units. The same can be done with the whole bundle of unit directories to which new ones may be added ad libitum. Now contains HTML documentation.

ScreenshotXMenu49 is an HP 49 menu extender. It shows you a full-screen menu with a maximum of 9 rows (54 menu entries) displayed on one page, and allows you to browse nested menus. The shifted actions of e.g. the VARS menu are supported.
By Thomas Rast. 2001/10/20

zLIB 3.5   (details) 49/50 ENG   1KB/1KB
A replacement for the LIB menu that is much faster and more useful. Has the same appearance as the built-in menu, but you can recall the contents of library commands with the right-shifted soft menu keys, just like in the VAR menu! Automatically assigns itself to RS (hold) LIB; all you have to do is attach the library. Extremely small and fast (in System RPL). Only for the 49g+ with ROM 2.00.
By Bob Logan. 2005/07/24

ZZ_RPN 00   (details) 49/50 ENG   4950KB/2KB
ScreenshotStarts your calculator in RPN mode, with a selection of the author's favorite key assignments, mostly written in System RPL directly in Debug4x. The "Tool-Menu" is no longer needed for most stack operations, because they have been assigned to the arrow keys. The battery percentage is shown when turning off. Lib ZZ-RPN included with several commands. Source files, GIMP-keyboard-layout included. Mostly documented.
