CAD49 is a drawing utility which can take advantage of the big screen on the 49g+ but also works fine with the regular screen, and the drawing size is limited only by memory. With this program you can type text on your grobs, draw geometric figures in a fast and easy way, select simple grobs from a fast and easy to use menu, and combine them to create a complicated graphic project. Each element of your project can be copied, pasted, rotated, reflected or moved at any time.
Mini animation. Weaves a carpet in 5 seconds for which a team of specialists would need months. Carpet does not affect PICTURE, flags or stack. Includes versions for both 64-line calculators and 80-line calculators.
A small program which uses random numbers to generate static in the display. Randomly flashes the annunciators, too. For the 49g+/50g only.
Draws a fractal-like image.
Generate EAN13 or EAN8 barcodes directly on your calculator. Autogeneration of EAN13 checkdigit writing the first 12 numbers, and the screen can be scanned directly without need to print barcodes on paper to testing. Application can manage a barcode database, too. Compatible with both the 49G and 49g+ (ROM 1.23 and 2.0).
Shows the convolution of two functions graphically.
CP is a simple User RPL program that attempts to find the critical points for any given function. It also gives the local Maximum and Minimum points, and F(x) at these points. It is handy for high school students to verify they have the right answer in exams. CP also complements the built in grapher, by giving exact answers for critical points.
Allows you to easily view the grayscale photos of the HP 49's creators that are embedded in the ROM.

This algorithm draws Arcs (partial circles) in the GRAPH PICTure, using an approximative "circumference length" code. The result can sometimes be wrong by one pixel. Written in assembly language so it is very fast.

Draws a version of the Sierpinski carpet, a version of the Sierpinski triangle, the Mandelbrot set,
and a Julia set at a resolution of 0.01. For the 50g.
FuNoF is an animation that simulates the dissipation of the screen according to the type of HEADER that utilize the HP 49G.
Dynamic geometry software (like geogebra). You can create geometrical figures with
lines, circles, curves and move a point. Zoom in/out, scrolling, moving a point are made in real time (with 16 grey levels). Program and documentation are in English and in French. Written with HPGCC for the 49g+ and 50g only.
Spinning globe animation.
Grob editor in grayscale or in black and white with tools for lines, boxes, circles and ellipses, a zoom mode, fill in with patterns, g(x)or and replace grobs. Also has tools to rotate and make symmetries with grobs and alows one to edit a grob before replacing it.
The most powerful graphic editor for the HP 49G. Provides a full set of tools to edit and create grayscale graphics on your HP 49G. Includes the famous EDG from the Meta Kernel v2.30. Not fully compatible with the 80-pixel tall display models.
HLDRAW does what WIREFRAME should have done: fast, true photographic, hidden line removed 3D plotting. It is possible to easily adjust the viewpoint so that you can rotate the graph.
Equivalent to WIREFRAME plot, but with hidden line removal and shading of "underside" of 3D graph. For the 49g+ and 50g (ROM 2.15) only. The previous version only worked on older ROM revisions (older 49G ROMs only?). Modified to work with most current ROM. Source code has been updated as well (for on-calc compiling only).

Takes a vector graphics file in HP-GL format and plots it on the calculator's LCD screen. Only a subset of HP-GL is interpreted, but this is sufficient to view well known drawings e.g. from ancient AutoCAD or modern vector drawing programs. Speed is not impressive, but may be improved by reimplementing parts in SysRPL.
Draws pretty patterns, adapted from a 42S program. Has 20 different variations, each seamlessly tiling to fill any size screen.

This library makes log-scale graphs for the 49G/49g+/50g. Plot types "Function", "Scatter" and "Parametric" are implemented. In the type "Function", TRACE and (X,Y) in the 49G plot menu are available. Non-uniform logarithmic tick, zoom-in, zoom-out and recenter are implemented. Faster than previous versions.
Animation like the screen saver xnlock for X Windows. Shows a rotating transparent sphere with dots on its surface.

Demonstrates perspective-correct texture mapping. It maps a simple animated texture onto a moving 3D wormhole.
Fast grob editor, with routines such as line, box, plane, and disk. It's twice as fast as Cyrille's graphical toolbox, and easy-to-use with soft menus. Includes 3 modes of zoom, a (bit slow) fill routine, coordinates, 'undo' function, basic flip/scroll routines, and it can edit grobs of size 1*1 or 128000*1 or 1*128000 without any problems: you can edit 128KB grobs with only several kilobytes of free memory!
Converts grayscale PGM images to dithered monochrome GROBs using the Floyd-Steinberg algorithm. Includes sample images.

A cool graphics demo featuring realtime animated 3D graphics. Source code included. It has a fast line routine, Sin/Cos lookup code, uses 1.7 fixed point math to do the calculations, and double buffering for the animation. It may not run from a port since it is self modifying.

This program reads the stack for as many successive grobs as can fit in memory, and then makes a slideshow crossfading between them.

This is a a browser program written completely in User RPL. It will take a list of data from the first level of the stack and all your data will be displayed on the graphic environment called in User RPL (PICT). A bar will be shown and with up and down arrow keys you can "navigate" through your data or results. Optimized for the 50g.
