Biography:Bernard Parisse is a French mathematician at the Joseph-Fourier University (UJF) in Isère / French Alps. He was the principal developer of the CAS / SAC system, which in a partnership with HP was integrated into the HP 49, HP 49, and HP 50 series of calculators. Since 2000, he has been developing Xcas / Giac, a famous computational algebra system that forms part of the symbolic calculation core of the HP Prime calculator as well as Geogebra.

Contains the source code for the CAS in the HP 49G calculator. With this package, you should be able to modify the source and recompile the ROM of the 49G. Most of the CAS is under the LGPL, but some parts are not, so not all of the CAS is modifiable. Compiles to something that claims to be ROM 1.24.

Allows for custom firmware to be developed on the physical G1 (not G2) calculator, with native code running instead of being limited to HPPL in the Prime environment. Includes a multi-firmware loader to load either the original HP firmware or a new alternative one named Upsilon. This includes KhiCAS, which is a modern version of the Giac/Xcas originally on the Prime, as well as some other native ARM applications such as a chess game, a reversi game, Doom, a Game Boy emulator, and an NES emulator. Requires a modified HP firmware to run, which can be generated from here.
